While there are many more articles to write about in Windows XP, Vista is only going to get more and more popular so I have invested in a new computer with Vista Ultimate.

The interface is quite snappy and easy to use. Networking is much easier to understand and there is a much greater emphasis on Offline files. There is no more Synctoy as there is a new Sync Center to look after all your syncing. Vista has picked up on many of the gripes I have with XP and improved them. All the registry hacks I had to do in the past are now options which are easy and safe to change.

I am looking forward to bringing you many articles about Vista as I get the hang of it myself and come to terms with all the changes. So far I am really enjoying Texas Hold-em poker and the updated solitaire. It’s early days yet.
