Windows Mobile: Pocket Candy 1.1
While there is no real reason to have a screen saver on your Pocket PC, they look nice and they give your Pocket PC a personalised touch.
Pocket PC’s don’t come with screen savers by default but they are easy to get up and running. If you would like to do this to your Pocket PC, check out Pocket Candy Version 1.1, available for free from Inspect My Gadget. It comes with 6 screen savers which all run quite smoothly on my Ipaq rw6828.
It is worth taking an extra step by getting your hands on some of the other screen savers which plug into Pocket Candy. One which I like is the Matrix screen saver, also available here at Inspect My Gadget. Pocket Candy is required for this to work.
The install is straight forward. To launch the application, look in your device settings and select system. This is where you will find the Pocket Candy shortcut.
