Windows Mobile devices are notorious for their inability to fully shut down applications when the ‘x’ is pressed. Having applications open in the background fills up system memory quickly, making any device run slowly, and sometimes even lock up.

I have been looking for a good application to manage the open applications on my device for a while, but now I have stumbled across one that does the job very well.

Switch 1.25 looks after this problem by allowing you to see which programs are running and either switch them to the front or close them.

It does everything I could want. When I first loaded the program, the switch icon was over my clock, but then after going into the settings, I found I was able to locate it anywhere on the screen. I have currently set it to be next to the clock, but next to the keyboard is also a nice option.
