Since I posted about Switch 1.25 the other day, I have been receiving lots of hits for such a utility, so I thought I would show another option.

Windows Mobile devices are notorious for their inability to fully shut down applications fully when you press the ‘x’ is pressed. Having applications open in the background fills up system memory and slow down a device, sometimes to a complete halt.

This utility allows you to fully close down applications, one by one or all together, from the tMan menu.

On of the features I like is the screen rotation. On my device, I would need to go into my device settings and tap on a few things to rotate the screen. tMan lets me rotate my screen in 2 taps. Some devices already have easy utilities to do this, but many do not.

If you have already tried out switch, you will want to uninstall it to try this out. Use ActiveSync or WMDC to “add/remove programs” and untick Switch to remove it from your device.

To install, unzip and copy the CAB file to your device and launch the installer from your device.
