We all love a bit of eye candy on our devices and Active UI brings us just that. Active UI is a today screen plug-in that lets you select various tasks and applications with your fingers. 

Once you have it installed, you can use your finger to scroll through the applications. The scrolling animations are very smooth, especially when using your thumb.

The initial install gives you three icon sets and plug-in sizes. The screen shot to the right shows the middle ground of the three.

You are able to download new icon sets and animations to help you make this utility just as you would like. You can even make your today screen look a bit like an iPhone.

I have not been able to find a way to add in my own applications and tasks but the default selection is quite reasonable. This may be something V2R looks into in the future.
