I work for a diary manufacturer and was researching people’s opinions on paper diaries so found the comments very interesting. We have a range of diaries that are refillable so you don’t need to rewrite the address book sections each year, just replace the diary section. There are those who do still love to write and we make sure we have excellent quality covers and good quality paper. You have failed to make mention of one of the most beneficial aspects of computer based diaries – it is able to be searched, instantly.

Though, I flick between computer and paper versions of diary and todo lists, my address book has always been electronic.
