Windows Software: Monitor when websites have been updated with WebMon: WebMon is a small program that sits in your task tray. You can set it up to check any web pages for updates. This is great for if a site doesn’t make updates often, or an RSS feed is unavailable.
Relive the 80’s with Nintendo Game&Watch classics: I came across a website that has a number of classic hand held games, such as Donkey Kong, available for download. The games have been remade, but they feature all the same features as the original. I was happy to come across these.
Windows Software: Securely delete your files with Eraser: After seeing how well NTFS undelete was able to retrieve deleted files, I became concerned, so I looked into ways of making my files completely unrecoverable. Eraser looked after this job on many fronts.
Windows Software: Monitor changes to your registry with Reg-Runner 2008: Reg-runner is a great solution for people who don’t like to run a virus scanner or anti spyware software. It monitors your registry for changes and lets you know about any changes as it finds them. You can also click on keys and processes to find out more about what they do through Google or ProcessLibrary.
