Windows Mobile: Pocket Bluetooth Tools can be used to add extra functionality to the built in bluetooth software on Windows Mobile 5. I first came across this package when I was having trouble connecting my GPS receiver to my Ipaq rw6828.

The Pocket Bluetooth Tools accessory is easy to install and easy to use. When you go through the pairing process on your Windows Mobile phone and select which profiles you would like to use, you are presented another window, as shown on the right. This gives you more control of what profiles you would like to use. The serial port box is particularly useful as it is simpler to configure than what is built in to WM5 devices.

You also get a few new icons on your today screen. Basically, this today screen addition shows you if your Bluetooth is turned on or off. You can easily remove this again from the today screen by navigating on your WM5 Device to : Start > Settings > Today > Items, and unchecking the bluetooth tools tickbox.

I recommend that if you are having trouble with Bluetooth settings, you should get this onto your device and then see if it works for you. It certainly helped me out of a struggle with my GPS.
